How do you know if you’re being a good leader? Do your reports find you approachable as a boss? Do they give you good feedback, and ask great questions?
Hopefully your team members feel comfortable enough to admit when they’ve made a mistake, and also that they feel fine about asking for help – it shows that they trust you are there to support them with their learning and development at work.
It’s also a great sign if your team members make suggestions that are really ‘out-of-the-box’, showing that to them, any goal or idea is achievable, and they are maintaining a positive ‘dream big’ attitude.
